The Cahokia Mounds Interpretive Center's Orientation Theater presents "The City of the Sun", which introduces visitors to the prehistoric city of Cahokia. These early people are most often known for the huge earthen pyramids found throughout the region today.

CED designed and installed the high definition theater that creates a 40' by 14' seamless panoramic image. At the end of the presentation, the screen rises to reveal a full-scale diorama of a recreated Cahokian village.

The HD theater includes an audio system and an AMX master control system that controls lighting and audio for the dramatic diorama reveal.
