International Game Fish Association Hall of Fame & Museum - Dania Beach, FL

The IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum experience starts with the Journey Theater. Here the visitor will explore that essence of sport-fishing. The high definition production is displayed on a 24' by 28' movable screen.

The Journey Theater pre-show incorporates lighting effects and fog to create the illusion of being under water. The film explores different aspects of sport-fishing from the thrill of the catch on a small freshwater lake, to fly-fishing in the Catskills, to the challenge and satisfaction of landing and releasing a world record blue marlin. As this magnificent creature plows up through the water, the size of the projected image doubles in height.

CED designed and installed 24 media-based exhibits along with the HD theater, including computer interactives, small theater experiences, ambient audio, and five custom designed fishing simulators.

Tim Creed/CED provided system design and integration, while Bob Ernspiker provided principal video editing as well as sound design for all media displays.
