Lewis & Clark Visitor Center - Hartford, IL
The theater at the Lewis and Clark Visitor's Center presents At Journey's Edge, a signature film produced by Donna Lawrence Productions. The high-definition film gives visitors the feeling of adventure by immersing them into the beginning of the Lewis and Clark journey, which began at Camp Dubois, IL.
The production is displayed on a 26' x 15' stationary screen, and is incorporated with pre-show lighting effects in order to create the illusion of river life in the early 1800s. The theater can also be used for other purposes, including playback of a videotape or DVD, and PowerPoint presentations with the option of using multiple microphones.
Within the Lewis and Clark museum, CED created ambient audio programs that provide a subtle backdrop for the gallery, and custom engineered non-repeating soundscapes that are randomly triggered throughout the exhibits.
