The Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy

Vincennes, IN-

The Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy, produced by Monadnock Media, Inc., is a tribute to one of the first comedic geniuses of the early television era. This museum features character displays and video clips of many of his beloved characters, like Freddie the Freeloader and Clem Kaddidlehopper. The main theater illustrates key moments of Red Skelton's life, which started in Vincennes, IN.

This museum is filled with creative interactive exhibits. There is the touchscreen interactive where the visitor can sit down in a clown's dressing room and digitally paint their face. The On the Stage with Red interactive allows the visitor to be on-screen with Red Skelton using green screen technology. There is also a Dance-Step interactive where the visitor follows a footstep pattern on the floor and produces a sound effect each time a footstep outline is stepped on.
